W Denis Nurmela
Mr. Nurmela is a freelance writer who has real-world experience in subjects he writes about. As an entrepreneur for over 20 years he has founded companies in both the for-profit and non-profit industries. He has built companies from ground level to multi-million dollar organizations.
Prior to his senior executive experience overseeing both medical and computer related corporations he was a surgical technician for 15 years and a computer technician for 5 years in the United States Air Force. He has his bachelor and master's degrees in leadership and organizational studies from Azusa Pacific University and is completing his doctorate degree in business administration with strong emphasis in entrepreneurship with Walden University.
Denis has vast experience online as well. He navigated the internet before the mouse was invented using UNIX commands and in 1996 founded a non-profit organization, DailyWOW.org, which is dedicated to sending inspirational messages to thousands around the world every day in many languages. He also founded The Association for Gifted Youth.

Denis is married with 6 children and 2 grandchildren and resides on acreage in Southern California. On his property, his family maintains a garden, chickens and a myriad of other animals. He operates several small businesses from his ranch.
He has been an active member of Vistage, the world’s largest CEO membership organization, is a member of Toastmasters Speakers Association and is a published author of an inspiring book titled Nourishing a Growing Testimony.
Denis is sought after as a business consultant, speaker, and is a freelance writer for a variety of business associations.
